Clubhouse is a new social media platform where all interactions are voice-based. Instead of sharing images, videos or text, people create audio chat rooms to talk to each other. Who is jumping on this bandwagon and why should you care?
Social media platforms have always aimed to connect people in a way that makes them feel heard, accepted and loved. Clubhouse takes it a step further, making each interaction more personal and unedited.
Posting anything unedited on social media today is so rare and bold it’s considered a political statement. Video creators spend hours editing their content, tweets are curated and scheduled and Instagram influencers have completely abandoned the human realm.
Clubhouse mimics real-life interactions. Influencers = moderators on this platform can open audio chat rooms and invite guests who raise their hand to speak. It’s like a live, real-time, open podcast discussion.
In times of social isolation, hearing another person’s voice can restore a sense of “normality”. It offers entertainment and well as networking opportunities. It’s no wonder Clubhouse has taken the world by storm while still being invitation only.
ECommerce Voices to Follow on Clubhouse
Of course, Clubhouse is already full of celebrities and by the time you’ll get an invitation you’ll likely find your favorite ones. Oprah, Drake and Kevin Hart are already active on the platform and more A-listers are joining every day.
After a week of intense borderline stalking, we’ve put together a list of some of the largest tech influencers that are impossible to reach out to on other platforms.
Connect with them on Clubhouse before they get too big.
